Pigot Miller Wilson
Accountants & Advisors
We’re a business advisory and accounting firm based in Orange NSW and we like being good at what we do. We also think it is important to give back to the community and help others who may be less fortunate, or going through times of hardship. That is why why we are excited to share that we have established our very own Common Cents Fund. This will be our bespoke philanthropic fund that we will use to finance and support various causes within the community. Our hardworking and generous staff will contribute to this fund through their workplace giving arrangements. On top of this, Pigot Miller Wilson will also invest a portion of our overall revenue into the fund. As we make contributions and purchases for good causes we will share the stories and impact of these with our network, staff and clients. It is all part of our overall corporate philosophy of being innovative, results driven and community minded. We like it and we think you will too!
Here are some other things we like:
We like small businesses.
We’re curious about what you do, how you run your business and why you get out of bed in the morning.
We like meeting people.
It’s interesting for us to get to know you and for you to share your story so we can do our best work.
We like results.
And we know how to get them. Finding solutions, progress and your business success are all things that help us sleep better.
We like evolution of things.
Small changes can take a business forward and we're always hunting innovative ways to make a difference. Implementing change is awesome.
We like our community.
Through sponsorships and actively participating in events, we get to share interests and have open dialogue with our local area.
We like feedback.
We learn more when we listen, and what you think about us is important. We figure that you can teach us a thing or two as well.
Here are some of the PMW team who are proud to help the local community. You can read more about their Common Cents Fund here.
We are pleased to announce that our PMW Common Cents Fund will assist two local charities here in Orange over the coming 12 months. They are Wangarang Industries, who provide disability employment services, and the Premi-Babes Association, who assist the maternity unit of the hospital by funding medical equipment for premature babies. Stay tuned for more updates on how we are helping these two great organisations.
Feb - 2017. The Orange Health Service and Premi-Babes Association have just taken delivery of a $7,500 jaundice monitor courtesy of our Common Cents Fund! Our very first purchase means that intrusive blood tests on premature newborns are a thing of the past here in Orange. Congratulations to our staff on this great effort, we are thrilled to be able to help young families and make things easier through a difficult time.
